150th Birth Anniversary |

Vincent van Gogh was born on 30th March 1853 in Brabant district, The Netherlands. At the occasion of his 150th birth anniversary TPG Post has issued a presentation pack showing three paintings by Van Gogh, and a souvenir sheet showing ten paintings by this world famous artist. The sheet contains 10 stamps, all with face value 0.39 Euro. On the selvedge of each stamp there is a monochrome brown-tinted vignette, corresponding to the painting.

On the same day TPG Post issued a presentation pack with three different paintings by Van Gogh, all self-adhesive. The apparent difference in size of the stamps is due to the priority label on the middle and right stamp.
